It offers information services that draw from satellite Earth Observation and in-situ (non-space) data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>he European Commission manages the Programme. It is implemented in partnership with the Member States, the European Space Agency (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.esa.int\/\">ESA<\/a>), the European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eumetsat.int\/\">EUMETSAT<\/a>), the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecmwf.int\/\">ECMWF<\/a>), EU Agencies and Mercator Oc\u00e9an (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mercator-ocean.eu\/en\/\">MOI<\/a>), the European Environment Agency (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eea.europa.eu\/\">EEA<\/a>) and the Joint Research Center (<a href=\"https:\/\/joint-research-centre.ec.europa.eu\/\">JRC<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vast amounts of global data from satellites and ground-based, airborne, and seaborne measurement systems provide information to help service providers, public authorities, and other international organisations improve European citizens&#8217; quality of life and beyond. The information services provided are free and openly accessible to users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Copernicus services<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Copernicus program, a collaboration between the European Commission and the European Space Agency, offers six essential services:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These services utilize satellite and ground-based data to support policy-making and improve environmental and human security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text\" style=\"grid-template-columns:15% auto\" id=\"CLMS\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><a
