Applications are now open for the CASSINI Hackathon \u2013 EU Space for Peace and Resilience, taking place from 27\u201329 November 2026 across several locations in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hackathon focuses on developing new solutions using European space technologies and data, including Copernicus, Galileo and EGNOS. The main themes include cybersecurity, crisis response and civil resilience, and countering transnational crime and terrorism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants from Iceland are eligible to apply, and no previous experience in space technology or programming is required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration deadline: 20 November 2026 at 12:00 Iceland time.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
