What is NextGen?
Space Iceland’s NextGen initiative is dedicated to fostering educational and cultural outreach related to space exploration. One of the rewarding aspects of their work includes providing opportunities for university students and researchers to engage in space-related projects.
NextGen 2023
In 2023, Space Iceland’s NextGen initiative continued its mission to engage university students and researchers in space-related projects. One highlight from the year was Michael, a NextGen Copernicus researcher, who had the honor of cutting the Copernicus cake during an event in June.
This event exemplifies Space Iceland’s commitment to providing hands-on experiences and fostering a community of emerging space professionals. Through such initiatives, NextGen aims to inspire and equip the next generation of space enthusiasts and experts.
