Do you care about global warming in Antarctica or deforestation in the Amazon Rainforest? Are you eager to learn more about oceans and the state of the atmosphere? Do you enjoy studying the natural sciences? Would you like to create your own project in this field? Then the Ecoview competition is definitely for you!
It embraces Ecology, Geography, and many related disciplines. A key requirement is the use of remote sensing data (satellite images) in your research project.
Here, you will not only compete with students from around the world—you’ll also take part in engaging courses on working with satellite imagery, provided by the JAS Laboratory of Geoinformation Systems and Remote Sensing of the Earth and its international partners.
The International Competition of Ecological Projects “Ecoview” is held annually and consists of three stages. It is open to school students aged 14–18 who are enrolled in general or extracurricular educational institutions.
