Earth Observation partnerships in action: Europe and Southeast Asia expand geospatial services together

The D4D Hub, with support from the European Union Delegations to Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines, together with ESA, BRIN, GISTDA, PhilSA, and the European Space Policy Institute (ESPI), is hosting a high-level side event, on the margins of the Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF-31), aimed at strengthening collaboration between Europe and Asia in the field of geospatial services and environmental resilience.
This event will bring together policymakers, government agencies, private sector leaders, researchers, and academics working at the intersection of space data and sustainability.

A regional pilot initiative to scale up CopPhil and extend the reach of the Copernicus programme across Southeast Asia. - Showcasing EU–ASEAN Cooperation
Explore ongoing and future collaboration in Earth Observation-based environmental services, with a focus on promoting education, research, and innovation. - Opportunities for Indonesia & Thailand
Discover how Copernicus data and services can support public and private sector applications in climate resilience, disaster risk management, agriculture, and more.
The EU-Copernicus Youth Challenge will be held alongside APRSAF-31 and will bring together students and young professionals from across the Asia-Pacific to design practical policy solutions using Copernicus and CopPhil data, further highlighting the relevance of Earth Observation data in addressing regional challenges.
Participation in the side event requires a separate registration. If you intend to participate in APRSAF-31, you must register separately by 20 October.
