2026 GEO Symposium / GEO-21 Plenary

Registration is now open for the 2026 GEO Symposium and GEO-21 Plenary, which will take place 26–28 May 2026 in Geneva, Switzerland.
Held under the theme “Investing in Earth Intelligence for a Resilient Future,” the 2026 GEO Symposium and GEO-21 Plenary will convene governments, space agencies, research organisations, private sector innovators, and development partners to explore how Earth Intelligence can drive transformative, resilient solutions for people and the planet at a pivotal moment in the implementation of GEO’s Post-2025 Strategy.
Registration
- Official GEO Plenary Delegates attending in person do not need to register. They will follow a separate process;
- All others attending in person are required to register to attend the open sessions of the GEO Symposium and GEO-21 Plenary;
- The GEO Symposium and open GEO Plenary Sessions will be live streamed. Live streaming registration is not required.
Call for Community Events and Contributions
Members of the GEO community – particularly those engaged in GEO Work Programme activities – are warmly encouraged to submit proposals as part of the registration process. Contributions are welcome in the following formats:
- Community Events;
- Showcases;
- Posters;
- News Releases.
These sessions will highlight user-driven solutions, open data and open knowledge practices, co-designed products and services, emerging partnerships, and investment opportunities that advance Earth Intelligence and GEO priorities.

Deadline for registration is 31 March 2026. Early registration is encouraged.
