Description
Starting with a free standing lunch, the Copernicus Marine User Forum Iceland brings together Iceland’s marine and coastal community to explore ocean data and services—and to hear directly from users about needs and priorities.
Hosted at the Iceland Ocean Cluster, the forum aims to connect industry, research, and decision-makers through an interactive and engaging afternoon.
Attendees can expect:
- An introduction to Copernicus Marine and MyOceanViewer, with practical examples linked to Icelandic use cases
- Local showcases featuring real-world marine data applications from research institutes and companies
- An interactive session to explore use cases and discuss data needs across the community
Networking opportunities are woven throughout the event, with the day concluding with drinks and refreshments.
Whether your work connects to sea ice, ocean temperature, fisheries, marine species, shipping/navigation, marine research, or the blue economy, or you’re simply curious, join us on 19 February at 12:15 at the Iceland Ocean Cluster (Grandagarður 16, 101 Reykjavík).
