The Magnetohydrodynamic Vortex-Inducing Photobioreactor Experiment (MVIPER) investigates a novel photobioreactor concept for microalgae cultivation using magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) drive technology to provide liquid-gas phase separation in microgravity.
